What parts of the Memphis area do you cover?
We're based in Memphis (38103) and cover about a 20-mile reach. That includes Downtown, Midtown, East Memphis, Whitehaven, Raleigh, Frayser, Hickory Hill and the rest of the city, plus Germantown, Bartlett, Cordova and Millington. If you're near the edge of that range, call and we'll tell you honestly whether we can fit you in.
Do you give free estimates?
Yes. Most small jobs can be priced from a couple of photos and a short call. For a bigger list or anything we can't judge from pictures, we'll come take a look at no charge. Either way you'll have a number before anything is scheduled.
Do you charge by the hour or by the job?
We price by the job whenever we can, so you know the cost going in. For an open-ended punch list we'll agree on a rate and a rough scope first. If something goes faster than expected, you benefit from that.
Are you insured?
Yes, we carry general liability insurance and can show proof before work starts. That matters for condo boards, property managers and anyone who wants the paperwork in hand.
Are your pros licensed and insured?
Yes. Every job is done by insured local pros who hold the licenses and registrations Tennessee requires for the work at hand, so wiring and plumbing connections are made by licensed electricians and plumbers. We carry general liability insurance and can provide a certificate for a landlord, HOA or property manager. Ask us anything before we start.
Do you work on rentals and with property managers?
Yes. Memphis has a lot of rental houses and duplexes, and make-ready work between tenants is a regular part of our week — patching walls, adjusting doors, replacing fixtures and hardware, fixing running toilets and touching up paint. We can meet a tenant or work from a lockbox, and send photos when the list is finished.
Can I text you a photo instead of scheduling a visit?
Please do. A clear photo and a sentence about what's wrong usually gets you a price and a time slot faster than anything else.
How soon can you come out?
Most jobs get on the calendar within a few days. If something is actively leaking, a door won't lock, or a storm just knocked something loose, tell us and we'll do our best to move you up.
